Personal study choice appointment for HAVO students

If you are a HAVO student and are contemplating starting an mbo course in September 2023. We can help you make a well thought through study choice. Feel free to contact us for a personal study choice meeting!

Make contact with teachers and students

For specific questions about courses, think here about, exemptions, fast track courses, school days, which subjects you get etc, you can make contact with our teachers and students. These contact details can be found on the relevant course page.

Some tips in advance for making a study choice:

• Use our study choice checklist (website in Dutch).Here you can track the steps you have made in your study choice process.
• Ask for help from your mentor or careers officer. They can help you look for a suitable course.
• Ask your friends, family and acquaintances. What do they think would suit you best?
• Think about professions: for example, working as a hairdresser, salesperson, chef, dentist assistant, interior advisor, (car) mechanic, nurse or chauffeur… are these something for you?
• What are you good and what do you like to do? Look at which competencies you have and which courses they would fit. By checking the box of each competency, you can maybe filter out what suits you the best.
• Compare the courses on our website and click on one or two to discover the differences.
• Visit information meetings and careers markets at your school and come along to open days (website in Dutch), follow a taster day or a guided tour.
• Sometimes pictures say more than words. Watch the videos from different courses on the pages of your favourite courses.
